About

Ebonaiti
Ebony Haiti

We are a dynamic mother and daughter duo, driven by a shared passion for celebrating our Haitian heritage and our desire to share something unique and showcase the nostalgic memories of our island country.

We believe that art has the power to transcend boundaries, ignite conversations, and foster a deep appreciation for diverse cultures. We've always enjoyed seeing other cultures and their people representing the best of what they love about their roots. With every brushstroke and every carefully curated product, we aim to tell a story and invite others to embark on a journey of discovery

Laurie Thomas (Daughter), born in Brooklyn and currently residing in Florida, is a graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design. With 10 years of designing original illustrations for retail apparel and home decor, she wanted to use her skills to feature art-inspired themes of Haiti. Having been to Haiti when a child and desire to visit friends and family in the future, the yerning sparked the initial idea to develop this brand.

Myrlene Thomas (Mother), born in Haiti, moved to the US in her teens, and now resides in Florida, handing down Haitian traditions with very delicious traditional meals, language, and aesthetics. With her elegant taste and deep cultural knowledge, she oversees and checks for an authentic look and feel to represent Haiti.

Whether you're looking to add a touch of Haitian charm to your home, find the perfect gift for a loved one, or simply appreciate the beauty of our art, we hope to bring a bit of Ayiti to you.
